In short: Your recordings, routines, and progress stay on your device. Voice Routine has no account or audio upload server. Apple and RevenueCat validate purchases, and Meta App Events may measure advertising campaign performance.
1. Scope and contact
This policy applies to the Voice Routine iOS app and this website. Email privacy questions to [email protected].
2. Information kept on your device
The app may store the following in SwiftData, UserDefaults, and its private local file area:
- Routine names, categories, repetition, and duration settings.
- Your audio recordings and optional recording text.
- Completed days, streaks, and local listening history.
- Your name, purpose, daily goal, language, and interface preferences.
- Daily reminder time and permission state.
Voice Routine does not upload this content to its own server. If you use iCloud or device backups, Apple and your device settings control backup behavior.
3. Microphone and notifications
Microphone access is requested only when you start a recording and is used to save audio locally. Notification access is requested only when you enable a reminder. iOS schedules reminders locally on your device.
4. Purchases
Apple App Store processes Premium purchases and RevenueCat validates them. An anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, entitlement or subscription status, transaction environment, and technical transaction identifiers may be processed for this purpose.
We do not see or store your card number, bank account, or Apple Account password. Apple controls payment processing.
5. Website
This static website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no analytics, advertising tracker, account form, or marketing cookie. Cloudflare may process standard technical logs such as IP address, request time, browser or device details, and requested URL for security and delivery.
6. Support messages
If you email us, your address, message, and technical details you include may be kept as needed to answer the request, investigate security issues, and meet legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment card data, or private keys.
7. Deletion and retention
You can delete routines and recordings in the app. Removing the app deletes local data in its iOS app container; Apple controls retention of device or iCloud backups. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records under their policies for payments, restoration, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
8. Advertising measurement and tracking
Voice Routine includes the official Meta App Events SDK to measure installs and app activations from Meta advertising campaigns. When enabled, Meta may process app launch or activation data, device and operating-system information, IP address, and technical device or app identifiers for analytics and third-party advertising. Meta's SDK privacy manifest declares device-ID collection and tracking.
Your audio recordings, routine text, name, and reminder content are not sent to Meta. The app does not display third-party advertising. Advertising-identifier collection is disabled by default, and the current version does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. Meta processes its data under the Meta Privacy Policy.
9. Children
Voice Routine is not specifically designed for children. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to make a purchase.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. The current date appears at the top of this page.
